- It all begins with a personalized, in-home visit to the space where your vision begins to become reality.
- David Gallant, Owner and Master Craftsman of SCW will schedule a convenient time to meet with you in person.
- After discussing your ideas, measurements are taken, and when possible, SCW appreciates you sharing any pictures or sketches of your project vision.
- Discussion and suggestions of both domestic and exotic hardwood options for your project will be addressed as well as variables and intricacies with the goal of creating one-of-a-kind piece/project that you will have taken part in creating.
- SCW will then take your ideas, measurements and selection of wood and ‘cost out’ materials in order to prepare a detailed proposal. When necessary or requested, a rough sketch can be drawn that closely replicates your vision.
- Within two weeks, a proposal will be given to you for your review. If you have any changes to your project that requires adding or deleting estimated specifications noted on the proposal, when possible, will be done onsite. If revisions require additional estimates, a follow up visit will be scheduled with a revised proposal that reflects those changes.
- Once you have reviewed and agreed to the proposal as presented, a specified deposit for materials will be required.
- Your name/job request will then be added to the list and a tentative date will be scheduled for work to begin.
- Upon completion of the project, the remainder of the project invoiced amount will be expected.
- We welcome any follow up written recommendations you’d like to share with SCW about the project, as well as any pictures you would be willing for us to share on our website.
